DUSHANBE, March 5, 2012, Asia-Plus — By mayor’s order 1.192 million somoni have been allocated from the mayor’s reserve fund to award extraordinary grants to female street cleaners in Dushanbe on the occasion of the Day of Mother, which is marked in Tajikistan on March 8, and the Navrouz Holiday, which is marked on March 21.
“Besides, 49,500 somoni have been allocated from the mayor’s reserve fund to award extraordinary grants to women working with the municipal government,” Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor’s office, said.
According to him, 2,285 female street cleaners and 80 women working with the municipal government will receive 500 somoni each.
