The police revealed a brutal murder of a 20-year-old girl in Vakhdat, Tajik Interior Ministry told the AP.

According to the ministry, the police have arrested three suspects – 25,26 and 28 years of age. The police said young people, while being intoxicated by alcohol and drugs, met a 20-year-old girl in Vakhdat and offered to give her a ride to Arbobdara place.

“When they were returning back to Vakhdat after raping the girl she told them she would go to the police. Young people stopped the car and stabbed the girl to death,” the Interior Ministry said in the report.

Criminal proceedings have been launched, investigation is carried out by the Vakhdat Prosecutor’s Office.
