Tajik Drug Control Agency carried out another special counter-drug operation.
A 41-year-old resident of Pyanj region of Khatlon province was arrested in Rudaki region as a result of the operation, DCA told AP.
“He was arrested with a gym bag with drugs inside,” the agency has said.
The result of laboratory analysis showed that the bag contained more than 2kg of heroin and nearly 20kg of hashish. A total of 22kg of drugs were seized as a result of the operation.
The arrested drug dealer will face charges under article 200 part 4 (illegal turnover of drugs) of the Criminal Code of Tajikistan.
