DUSHANBE, August 22, 2012, Asia-Plus  — Tajik President Emomali Rahmon is departing for Ashgabat, Turkmenistan tomorrow morning for an official two-day visit, a well-informed government in the Tajik government said in an interview with Asia-Plus.

During his stay in Turkmenistan, Rahmon is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and some other high-ranking Turkmen state officials to discuss state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.

The sides are expected to sign a number of interstate, government-to-government and inter-agency agreements, the source said.
