DUSHANBE, October 9, 2012, Asia-Plus  — The next meetings of the CIS Council of Migration Service Agency Heads and the Council for Migration Policy under the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC) Integration Committee are taking place in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan from October 10 to October 12.

According to the press center of the Migration Service under the Government of Tajikistan, the meetings will consider the current migration situation within the CIS area.

The CIS migration service agency heads will consider issues related to cooperation with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) on the implementation of the program for labor migration and cooperation between the CIS migration service agencies and media on formation of a tolerant attitude towards labor migrants.

The EAEC Council for Migration Policy meeting is expected to consider the plan of actions for 2011-2013 as well as priorities of the migration cooperation between the EAEC member nations, the source said.

During his stay in Bishkek, Tajik migration service agency head Safiallo Devonayev is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with his counterparts from a number of the CIS nations.
