DUSHANBE, November 9, Asia-Plus  — President Emomali Rahmon has sent his congratulations to Barack Hussein Obama, who has been reelected to a second term as U.S. president.

Emomali Rahmon on November 8 congratulated U.S. President Barack Obama on his reelection, saying Tajikistan highly appraises the current level of partnership with the United States, which covers various aspects of mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of politics and security as well as socioeconomic and cultural-humanitarian spheres, the Tajik president’s official website said.

In his message, Rahmon, in particular, noted that Tajikistan is interested in further expansion of many-sided cooperation with the United States.
