, May 17, Asia-Plus – Prime Minister Oqil Oqilov today is receiving visiting representatives from Arab investment funds, who have arrived in
Tajikistan
to attend a roundtable meeting on investment projects.
According to information from presidential press service, issues related to investing in development of
Tajikistan
’s economy are supposed to be in the center of discussion. In the course of the talks the sides are also discussing the results of the roundtable meeting with participation of representatives from Arab investment funds that was held in
Dushanbe
on May 15-16.
Experts from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Kuwaiti and Saudi Development Funds as well OPEC attended the roundtable meeting in
Dushanbe
on May 15-16. During the meeting the Tajik side offered them new investment projects aimed at enhancement of
Tajikistan
’s education, agrarian, energy, and other sectors.
A news conference will be given after the today’s meeting of the prime minister with representatives from Arab investment funds and international finance institutions.
