rd
session of the CIS Council for Antimonopoly Policy opened in the Ukrainian capital city of
Kiev
today.
According to information from
Tajikistan
’s Antimonopoly Committee, a Tajik delegation attending the meeting is led by Rahmonali Amirov, Chairman of the Antimonopoly Committee.
During two days participants at the meeting are considering issues related to regulation of prices and tariffs of services rendered by subjects of natural monopolies. The meeting is also supposed to hear information about cases considered by the countries’ antimonopoly agencies that had the most effect on national and interstate markets.
The CIS Council for Antimonopoly Policy members are Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
