is progressing.
Akbar Khojayev, the head of the
Dushanbe
antimonopoly agency, told Asia-Plus that new lighting was installed at the Ismoili Somoni memorial in the center of the city. He said the
Dushanbe
company Stroyservice installing flowerbeds at
Dusti Square
, near the parliament building. ”Funds for these improvements were provided by the mayor’s office and local entrepreneurs,” said Khojayev.
The antimonopoly agency head said that a commercial firm, Madmanagement, is ready to improve 12 areas in the city, planting them with trees and gardens. ”They have already submitted sketches for consideration by the mayor’s office,” Khojayev said.
