DUSHANBE, May 26, Asia-Plus — Boarding School # 1 in Dushanbe has organized cultural activities dedicated to Child Protection Day, which is marked in Tajikistan on June 1.
Shahlo Mousoyeva, chairperson of the culture directorate of the Dushanbe mayor’s office, told Asia-Plus that such activities, including concerts, various contests and quizzes, will be organized at all boarding schools in the city till June 1.
“On June 1, all children’s merry-go-rounds and playgrounds in the Dushanbe Central Park will function free of charge,” Mousoyeva said.
The International Child Protection day is celebrated in numerous countries, usually (but not always) on June 1 each year.
