DUSHANBE, October 6, Asia-Plus — On October 6, President Emomali Rahmon met with his Moldavian counterpart, President Vladimir Voronin, before a summit of the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC).
In the course of the talks, the presidents exchanged views on state and prospects of further expansion of cooperation between Tajikistan and Moldova both in bilateral format and in the framework of international organizations.
Both sides noted that long distance between the two countries cannot be barrier in the way of development of mutually beneficial relations. Rahmon and Voronin confirmed their readiness to develop relations of friendship and cooperation between their countries.
