DUSHANBE, October 17, Asia-Plus — On Tuesday October 16, Odil Sangov, the first deputy head of Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) met with Ms. Helen Schmidt, representative from Germany’s EPOS Health Consultants.
The CCI press service said that in the course Sangov offered the EPOS representative t consider the possibility of creating traveling labs for carrying out medical examinations in remote mountain areas of Tajikistan.
He also briefed her on activities of the CCI and outlined sectors that could drive cooperation between the organizations, the press service said.
For her part, Ms. Schmidt noted that at present five projects aimed at combating AIDS/HIV, TB and malaria are being implemented in Tajikistan and coordination committee had been set up.
