Speaking to journalists after the prize-handover ceremony, Ryabukhin said the cooperation had been dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the system.

“TojikSodirotBonk, which has yielded good results in the ALLURE system, is our old and respected client,” said the UCS official, “TSB is also the most successful partner in terms of business.”

For his part, Tojiddin Pirov noted that over the first nine months of this year, a total volume of drawn remittances received by the bank vial electronic systems alone has exceeded $24 million.

The head office of TSB launched the money transfer system ALLURE in 2003.  Number of transactions in the head office has increased from 32 for the second quarter of this year to more than 300 for the third quarter, and turnover has increased from $16,300 to $160,000 respectively.

The ALLURE Money Transfer System is designed to provide individuals – Russian Federation residents and non-residents – with accessible high quality service of transferring funds in Robles in the territory of the Russian Federation and in foreign currencies abroad, without opening bank accounts.  The ALLURE instant money transfer system was introduced in Russia and in the CIS countries in June 2002. From its start until July 2006 the System operated under the STB-Express brand.  At the initial stage about 160 supplementary offices of the O.V.K. Bank Group, situated in over 100 cities of Russia, joined the System.

TSB was established in December 1990 as the Tajik branch of the Vnesh Econom Bank of the former Soviet Union, and it initially specialized in trade and import-export banking.  Later this branch was reorganized into a Joint-Stock Commercial Bank “Tajikvnesheconombank”. In June 1999 the bank was renamed and registered as TojikSodirotBonk or TSB.

Headquartered in Dushanbe, TSB has 10 branches in the main cities of Tajikistan and covering all regions of the country. Its clients include the biggest Tajik trading companies, other enterprises, entrepreneurs, and some of the embassies and diplomatic organizations based in Dushanbe.
