DUSHANBE, December 3, Asia-Plus — Senior representatives from Iran’s company Motahedin-e Saleh International Co are expected to arrive in Tajikistan in the near future to discuss specific proposals on cooperation in various economic sectors, Asia-Plus has learned at the department for foreign economic ties of Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI).
The source at a CCI said that those issues were discussed at a meeting of the Tajik CCI head Sharif Said with Muhammad Karimiyanzade, director general of Motahedin-e Saleh International, in Dushanbe at the end of last week.
In the course of the talks the Iranian company top manager said that his company could cooperate with Tajikistan in constructing high-rise buildings in Tajikistan.
The CCI also arranged meetings of Karimiyanzade with Deputy Energy and Industries Minister, Mahmadsharif Haqdodov, and First Deputy land Reclamation and Water Resources, Kamol Nouraliyev.
Karimiyonzade’s discussions with Haqdodov focused on bilateral cooperation in the field of energy and the possibility of participation of Motahedin-e Saleh International Co in constructing hydropower facilities in Tajikistan. .
