DUSHANBE, February 6, Asia-Plus — President Emomali Rahmon yesterday signed a number of decrees and resolutions reshuffling some ministerial officials.
According to presidential press service, by president’s decree Mahmoudjon Sobidrov was relieved of his post of Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan. Government’s resolution of the same day named him the Deputy Foreign Minister.
Separate president’s decrees named Hukmatullo Ahmadov the President of the Agriculture Academy and Jouma Davlatov the head of the Civil Service Training Institute at President’s Executive Office.
The personnel moves also include moving the director of the Agency for Procurement of Goods, Works and Services at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, Hamdam Taghoymurodov, to the post of the head of the Department for Investments and Economic Reforms at President’s Executive Office, and appointing Said Jobirov the First Deputy Health Minister and Sohibnazar Rahmonov the Deputy Health Minister.
Zafar Saidzoda was relieved of his post of the director of national news agency Khovar in connection with transfer to other job. He was appointed the Senior Adviser to the President for Foreign Policy.
