DUSHANBE, February 13, Asia-Plus — A three-day military exercise opened at Russian motorized rifle regiment 191 deployed in the Khatlon province on February 12, Asia-Plus has learned at the military base headquarters in Dushanbe.
According to the source, the exercise includes simulated combat maneuvers and a special combat operation against terrorist groups intruding from a neighboring state.
The exercise, involving servicemen of the regiment, along with armored vehicles and artillery, will close tomorrow with a final phase at the Sumbuli training grounds featuring live-fire missions with self-propelled artillery.
