EU provides equipment to Tajik customs service

DUSHANBE, July 22, 2008, Asia-Plus  — The European Union (EU) has provided more than 260 euros’ worth of equipment for the central customs examination lab within Tajikistan’s Customs Service, Asia-Plus has learned from the lab head Safol Musoyev.  

According to him, the assistance has been provided within the framework of the EU-supported project for reform and modernization of the customs service of Tajikistan.  

Musoyev noted that projects also provides for training Tajik customs officers in English and exchange of experiences with Ukrainian colleagues.
