DUSHANBE, September 30, Asia-Plus — The 10th All-Russian Forum entitled The Education Environment 2008 is opening at the All-Russian Exhibition Center in Moscow today.
According to the Ministry of Education (MoE), Ms. Sanovbar Nourova, a chief specialist with the MoE department for international ties, and Mr. Rahmon Ulmasov, vice-chancellor of Russian-Tajik Slavic University (RTSU) in charge of international ties, are representing Tajikistan at the forum.
The event is aimed at promoting implementation of Russia’s federal targeted education development program designed for 2006-2010, education projects ad programs of constituent territories of the federation for improving quality, availability and efficiency of education.
The forum includes the plenary session “Education, State, Society,” seminar “Protection of the Results of Intellectual Activity in the Education Sector,” and the 5th all-Russian scientific-practical conference entitled “Education Environment: Present and Future.” The event will last till October 3.
The Education Environment 2008, which is held within the framework of the Russian Education Week, is dedicated to show modern directions and prospects of the Russian education system.
The Russian Education Week includes three specialized exhibitions: Educational Equipment; Education Environment; and Educational Books and Multimedia Publishing. It also includes a packed schedule of topical meetings and competitions.
The Russian Education Week is the leading event aimed at presenting top achievements in the development of education environments throughout the country’s education system, including innovations, progressive methodology , and state of the art teaching aids , as well as achievements in pre-school, school-age, professional-training and higher-education curricula.
