DUSHANBE, October 17, 2008, Asia-Plus — Parliament hearings on the progress of administration of the 2008 budget will be held in Dushanbe today afternoon.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament), said that economic bloc ministries and organizations will report to the parliament on utilization of the budget.
According to him, Finance Minister Safarali Najmuddinov, Tax Committee head Hakim Soliyev, Customs Service head Gurez Zarifov, anticorruption agency head Sherkhon Salimzoda and others will report to the parliament.
