KHOROG, November 19, 2008, Asia-Plus — A Battle Standard was handed over to the Khorog unit on November 18.
Speaking the standard-handover ceremony, deputy commander of the Tajik border troops, Major-General Isoufkhon Murodov, noted that it was the sixth battle standard handed over to the border units this year.
“The first battle standard was handed over to border unit 23 on October 3, 2008,” the general said.
