DUSHANBE, December 2, 2008, Asia-Plus  — Days of Uzbek Movie are expected to be held in Dushanbe in February, the Dom Kino director Safar Haqdodov said in an interview with Asia-Plus.

According to him, this issue is being discussed today at a meeting of representatives of Tajikistan’s film studio, Tojikfilm, and Uzbek Embassy in Dushanbe today.

“Earlier, issues related to cooperation between cinematographers of the two countries as well as organization of Days of Uzbek Movie in Tajikistan and Days of Tajik Movie in Uzbekistan were discussed on sidelines of the Central Asian Forum of Visual Anthropology “KinoVizA,” that took place in Tashkent on November 18-23,” Haqdodov said, noting that the preliminary list of Uzbek movies for demonstration in Dushanbe had already been prepared.
