DUSHANBE, April 30, 2009, Asia-Plus  — By a decree signed by Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov yesterday Nurberdy Amanmyradov was appointed Turkmenistan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Tajikistan, Turkmenistan.Ru reported.

According to Turkmenistan.RU, Amanmyradov had previously served as Turkmen ambassador to Turkey and Israel.

He will replace Ambassador Ahmed Qurbanov, whose tenure to Tajikistan ended in August 2008.
