It is planned to close the Kyrgyz budget gap with the grant received from Russia, Akylbek Japarov, Economic Development and Trade Minister of Kyrgyzstan said at the government session on Wednesday, May 13.

The state budget was enlarged by 11.32 billion soms for January-March of 2009. “A 4.1 billion soms budget deficit is predicted due to worsening of economical situation, imposing of moratorium on property tax, reduction of patent rates for casinos and playing automats. It is supposed to set off loses by means of $150 million Russian grant,” Japarov said.
