DUSHANBE, August 6, 2009, Asia-Plus  — The first session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan is taking place in Dushanbe today.

According to the Tajik MFA information department, the sides will consider issues related to state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.  The session is expected to result in signing of a number of documents.

In the afternoon, President Emomali Rahmon will receive the Kyrgyz delegation.
