JSC “Uztransgas” (a part of national holding company “Uzbekneftegas”) and Abu Dhabi company on development of energetics of the future (United Arab Emirates) signed an agreement “On purchasing certified reduced emissions” for contribution of Uzbekistan into the movement on global change prevention, “Biznes-Vestnik Vostoka” newspaper reported.

“The document is directed towards development and realization of the project on reduction of natural gas losses in Ferghana valley,” edition noted. Newest equipment on detection of losses, their quantitative measurement, elimination, and subsequent monitoring of eliminated losses will be used here.
