The body of woman working for Russian military base found in Dushanbe’ suburb

DUSHANBE, August 7, 2009, Asia-Plus  — The body of woman of Slavic appearance with craniocerebral injury was found today early in the morning in the Chimteppa jamoat of the Roudaki district.

According to the Ministry of Interior (MoI), she was identified as the 44-year-old Yevgenia Shevronskaya working for the Russian military base in Tajikistan.  “Ms. Shevronskaya worked with chancery of the base’s headquarters in Dushanbe,” the source said.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted to investigate into the incident.
