DUSHANBE, August 7, 2009, Asia-Plus  — Representatives from a number of Turkish companies and enterprises are currently in Tajikistan to study opportunities of participating in investment projects here.

According to the Turkish Embassy in Dushanbe, a working visit of representatives from a number of Turkish state-run enterprises and organizations as well as Turkish entrepreneurs to Tajikistan is concluding tomorrow.

Turkish delegation arrived in Tajikistan on August 4.  To this date, they have held a number of meetings with Tajik ministries and organizations on implementation of a number projects in energy and light industry sectors.

The Turkish delegation members include representatives of Turkish large companies engaged in production of electricity from solar energy, construction of small and medium-sized hydropower plants, production of textiles and construction of various facilities.
