According to PDPT’s head office in Dushanbe, representatives of the party’s organizations from Dushanbe, Sughd and Khatlon provinces as well as districts subordinate to the center (RRPs) have come together in Tavildara to get acquainted with the current situation in the district, hold meetings with local population and familiarize themselves with state of affairs in local party organizations with regard to preparations for the upcoming parliamentary elections due in February 2010.

The conference participants strongly condemned those who had tried to destabilize the situation in eastern Tajikistan and expressed full support for government’s efforts to reintroduce an order and legality in the area, the source said.
