DUSHANBE, September 7, 2009, Asia-Plus –The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon or MN) of parliament considered a bill requiring changes and addenda to the country’s law on licensing certain types of activities at a September 7 meeting presided over by its speaker Saydullo Khairulloyev.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board also considered the soil preservation bill and government-to-government agreements of Tajikistan with Mongolia and Lithuania as well as the agreement between Tajikistan and the Belgium-Luxemburg Economic Union on mutual protection of investments.
All these issues will be considered at the next session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon that will be held in early October this year, the spokesman said.
