DUSHANBE, December 7, 2009, Asia-Plus — The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament has considered and endorsed changes and addenda to the country’s law on state duty, Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said.
The board meeting, presided over by the Majlisi Namoyandagon speaker, Saydullo Khairulloyev, was held on December 7.
Speaking at the meeting, the Majlisi Namoyandagon speaker noted that a special commission had studied all applications by citizens to the lower chamber and asked the board members to be considerable to applications and complaints by voters in the future as well, Sultonov said.
