Tajik cabinet discusses issuance and realization of Roghun shares

DUSHANBE, December 8, 2009, Asia-Plus  — Government considered issues related to issuance and realization of shares in Roghun HPP and collection of funds to help Roghun’s construction at a December 7 meeting, presided over by President Emomali Rahmon, according to presidential press service.

Speaking at the meeting, the president charged relevant bodies to take under strict control targeted use of funds coming to Roghun’s bank accounts.  Such bank accounts will be opened in all regions of the country.

With regard to wishes of Tajiks living abroad, it was also proposed to open such accounts at foreign banks as well, the press service said.
