Almaty should become the core for realization of the industrially-innovative programs. Akim of Almaty, Ahmetzhan Esimov, said during the meeting with the city inhabitants, the agency reports.

Speaking about priorities for 2010, A. Esimov said that the first is realization of the assignments set by the head of state in his Address to the people of Kazakhstan. “He set the assignments related to the forced industrial development. The President also noted that the sectors of economy of the future should be developed in Almaty and Astana and this is the key to global restoration of the economy of Kazakhstan and increase its stability to overcome the external challenges.”
