DUSHANBE, February 16, 2010, Asia-Plus – The Victoria Project Company from the Czech Republic intends to participate in implementation of the project for providing Dushanbe with drinking water from the Siyoma River in the Varzob district, Asia-Plus has learned from the source at the State Committee for Investments and State-owned Property Management (GosKomInvest).

“We have already signed a protocol of intent and Victoria Project is currently seeking donor for the project in Austria,” the source said.

According to him, representatives from Victoria Project are expected to arrive in Dushanbe next month and the company will sign a cooperation agreement with the Dushanbe mayor’s office for implementation of this project.

The source added that Victoria Project was also interested in participation in implementation of projects for construction of small hydropower plant in Tajikistan.
