KHUJAND, February 16, 2010, Asia-Plus – On Monday February 15, representatives from political parties and candidates for the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) met with voters in Khujand, the capital of Sughd province.

Organized by IFES Tajikistan, the meeting took place at the Youth Center, where all necessary information about activities of political parties, programs of political parties, editions of official newspapers of political parties, posters and the parliamentary elections code were made available.

Muhibullo Ddadajonov, head of the office of the Central Committee for Elections and Referenda (CCER) attended the meeting on behalf of the CCER.
