DUSHANBE, February 17, 2010, Asia-Plus  – Two residents of Khatlon’s Hamadoni district were detained in Dushanbe yesterday on suspicion of having been involved in drug pushing, according to the Drug Control Agency (DCA) press service.

Two packages of drug narcotic that was tested positive to heroin weighing some 2 kilograms were confiscated from them.  They were going to sell heroin in Dushanbe, the source said.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the detained drug pushers and an investigation is under way.
