KULOB, February 19, 2010, Asia-Plus — Hundreds of medical workers from the city of Kulob have come to local branch of Amonatbonk (Tajikistan’s savings bank) to purchase shares in Roghun.
Mirzoali Miraliyev, deputy head of the Kulob regional health directorate, told Asia-Plus that medical workers from Khatlon’s Kulob zone have bought shares in Roghun for 2.1629 million somoni by February 19.
In the meantime, Abdukarim Nematov, head of the branch of the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) in Kulob, says residents of the Kulob zone have bought shares in Roghun for a total of 27.6538 million somoni to this day.
We will recall that Tajikistan has issued 6 billion somoni (US$1.37 billion) worth of Roghun shares.
