KHUNAD, February 19, 2010, Asia-Plus – The Sughd anticorruption directorate has instituted criminal proceedings against a judge from the Qairoqqum city court, Ashour Rouziyev.
The source at the anticorruption directorate said that Ashour Rouziyev was detained by aintcorruption officers yesterday when he was taking bribe (US$,1000) from local resident for preparing documents on granting amnesty to his relative.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against Rouziyev under the provisions of Article 319 (bribe taking) of Tajikistan’s Penal Code and an investigation is under way.
