DUSHANBE. May 28. “Asia-Plus” — Chief of the Tajik energy company Barqi Tojik Abdullo Erov represents Tajikistan at the 37th session of the CIS Energy Council which is held in Russian Uglich.

The event gathered top energy officials from CIS countries and top managers of energy companies and organizations of CIS member states, a spokesman for Barqi Tojik Nozir Edgori told the AP.

According to him, session participants will discuss cooperation with international energy organizations, development of harmonized technical regulations in energy sector and normative documents on metrological support for improvement of the quality of energy and electricity in intersystem transmission lines of energy market subjects.

Top energy officials are also scheduled to talk about cooperation between CIS member states in terms of the use of renewable energy sources and a series of other issues.
