DUSHANBE, August 24, 2010, Asia-Plus  — President Emomali Rahmon who is currently on a working visit to the Kulob zone in Khatlon province has inaugurated a spinning mill and a modern health center in Farkhor district today, according to presidential press service.

The spinning mill, built by joint-stock company (JSC) Farres, has the capacity of manufacturing 1,200 tons of product per year.  The enterprise has created 140 new jobs for local residents.

The modern two-story health center that was also officially commenced in Farkhor district today had been built and provided with modern medical equipment due to funds allocated from the national budget.  150 people, including 32 physicians of higher category, will work with the center.
