Shahritus chairman promises students apartment and car for victory in school Olympiads

QURGHON TEPPA, October 23, 2010, Asia-Plus  — Shahritus authorities are taking special measures to encourage local school students learning.  Kholmurod Rahmonov, for example, promises to present an apartment and a car to school students from Shahritus who will win gold medals at school Olympiads.

“I have promised that the Shahritus education sector will be one of the best in the country within the next few years,” Rahmonov announced at a news conference in Shahritus on October 22.

“To-date, we have made major repairs to all local schools and built additional classes,” said the Shahritus administrator, “All necessary conditions have been created both for teachers and students and they have but to study well.”

According to him, 32 local schools students are currently preparing for the republic school Olympiad and they plan to win gold medals.
