Tajikistan, Russia to boost cooperation in countering terrorism, extremism and drug trafficking

DUSHANBE, November 10, Asia-Plus — President Emomali Rahmon yesterday received Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) head Nikolai Bortnikov, according to the presidential press service.

The sides discussed bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the Russian Federation in strengthening regional security.

Cooperation between the two countries in combating terrorism, extremism and drug trafficking was a major topic of the talks.
