DUSHANBE, June 22, 2011, Asia-Plus — The Mir TV Cannel today morning organized in Dushanbe activities dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War (GPW) of 1941-1945.
The action “My Duty of Memory” took place in Dushanbe’s Victory Park at 4:00 am. Hundreds of candles were lit at the Memorial Complex in the Victory Park.
Events and live TV broadcast dedicated to the Day of Remembrance and Mourning that marks the beginning of the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) took place in the Victory Park on June 22, from 1:00 am to 7:00 am. The television space bridge connected the capital cities of nine CIS nations.
