DUSHANBE, August 4, 2011, Asia-Plus — The Dushanbe mayor’s office yesterday announced the contest to determine the best restaurant, the best café and the best hotel in the Tajik capital city.
Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor’s office, says the contest is being held on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence.
According to him, the goal of the competition is to promote development of restaurant and hotel industry in the country, increase in role of entrepreneurs as well as further development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Dushanbe. The award ceremony for the winners of the contest will be held on August 25.
