DUSHANBE, October 25, 2011, Asia-Plus — Russian military base in Tajikistan is continuing work on introduction of modern communications equipment.
Dmitry Matushkin, an assistant to the commander of the Russian military base in Tajikistan, says the base’s signal battalion has received movable info-communications complex that allows establishing live transmission and transmitting audio and visual information from the scene of action in IP-space in real time regime.
“We have recently received an average power radio station R-161-A2M that allows establishing contact with correspondents being thousands of kilometers far from the base,” the signal battalion commander, Lieutenant-Colonel Nikolai Turzanov said.
