DUSHANBE, October 25, 2011, 2011, Asia-Plus  — Servicemen of the Russian military base have decorated the chapel located within compound of the base in Dushanbe.

Dmitry Matushkin, an assistant to the commander of the Russian military base in Tajikistan, told Asia-Plus that the servicemen had conducted a real research work and the domes had been decorated in the best traditions of the Old Russian painting.   

We will recall that construction of a bell turret at the chapel within compound of Russian military base in Dushanbe has started.  Seven bells with a total weight of more than 300 kilograms will be installed.  The bell turret is expected to be finished by the end of October.

The Metropolitan of Tashkent and Central Asia Vikentiy is expected to arrive in Dushanbe to consecrate the bell turret.
