DUSHANBE, January 16, 2012, Asia-Plus  — Five Tajik nationals were killed on January 14 as their car collided with a bus in Tver oblast, Russia.

According to Tajik Migration Service’s office in the Russian Federation, the accident took place at around 12:00 on the Torzhok-Ostashkov highway.

“The car went into oncoming traffic and collided with the bus,” said the source.  “As a result of the collision, five young men that were in the car died on the spot.  All of them were residents of the Zafarobod district in Sughd province.”

The course of the accident is under investigation.
