DUSHANBE, April 2, 2012, Asia-Plus  — The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered the transportation safety bill at an April 2 meeting, presided over by the Majlisi Namoyandagon Speaker Shukurjon Zuhurov.

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, says this draft law is dedicated to protect rights of public institutions and citizens of transportation safety.

The board reportedly also considered a bill requiring amendments to the country’s law on national holidays.

The issues have been tabled to the agenda of a regular sitting of the third session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the fourth convocation that will take lace on April 4, Sultonov said.
