“Rights and freedoms of military servants – international and national standards” training to be held in Dushanbe on May 16-18. Training will be conducted by ‘Amparo’ association of young lawyers in collaboration with the Ombudsman Institute in Tajikistan and with financial support from the Democratic Center for Armed Forces Control.
The goal of the training is to train military servants to the foundations of their rights, review standard guarantees in accordance with national and international standards, mechanisms of protection of rights and interests of military servants and members of their families.
Training is expected to bring together representatives of the Ombudsman Institute in Tajikistan, defense officials, representatives of the military tribunal, National Legislation Center under the President of Tajikistan, lawyers, representatives of international organizations and civil society.
Training will be carried out by international and national experts, including Giji Gia, head of the Democratic Center for Armed Forces Control office, Mindia Vakhaladze, expert of the given center, Samadova Dilafruz, program coordinator from Amparo association.
