1.500 books from orientalist Michail Bogolyubov’s collection were delivered to Tajik National Library from St. Petersburg.

According to NTV, on May 15 academician’s family handed books, encyclopedias, dictionaries written by Michail Bogolyubov to Tajik diplomats. He spent tens of years in expeditions to Central Asia and he is as popular in the East as Nikolai Rerikh in India.

For a period of 35 years Michail Bogolyubov served as a dean of the Eastern faculty of the Leningrad State University. Bogolyubov’s collection will be stored in Central Asia’s most up-to-date library.
