On Monday Tajik parliamentarians considered the draft law “On moratorium on audits of producing entities” and a series of amendments to other legislative acts of the country.

In his interview to AP spokesman for the Tajik Parliament’s Lower Chamber Muhammadato Sultonov said that these issues were part of the agenda of a regular session of the Council of the Tajik Parliament’s Lower Chamber which was held today under chairmanship of Shukurjon Zukhurov.

Deputies discussed amendments to the Law “On pensions”, Law “On industrial samples”, Law “On trademarks”, Law “On geographic indications” and other normative and legislative acts.

The draft law “On moratorium on audits of producing entities”, which was designed in accordance with Tajikistan President’s order, provides for introduction of a three-year moratorium on audits of businessmen who import new technologies for establishment of production lines in Tajikistan and create new workplaces in the country, a source in the Government of the republic told AP.

All issues considered by the Council were included into the agenda of the next session of the third session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of Tajikistan of the fourth convocation due on Wednesday, May 23.
